She brings experience from a nursing career as well as working in the Emergency Medical Services as an EMT. Solid experience from the Construction, Oil Sands and Healthcare industries working as a consultant combined with a CHSC Designation (Certified Health & Safety Consultant) from the Canadian Society for Safety Engineering, Danielle will come to you with a broad background. Danielle has also trained the Youth Cadets at St John Ambulance in the past for many years with a momentous achievement of the team being awarded first place in the World and in Canada during first aid competitions.
Danielle can assist your company in obtaining your COR or SECOR designation. She also holds certifications towards her Professional Workplace Trainer designation, TapRooT Incident Investigation certification as well as numerous certificates in the Construction Industry. With Prime Contractor and Hazard Assessment, from other sources as well as Safety Auditor certification from the Alberta Construction Safety Association, Danielle will bring the well-rounded experience your company deserves when seeking services from professionals like WICK Safety.
Ron Smith; one of the Safety Consultants and Trainers with WICK Safety comes with a background that is sure to present you or your company with professional assistance.
Ron has worked in the Oil Industry for a large oilsands company for over 27 years, and has worked in Safety for over 12 years. His passion for Safety started more than 20 years ago when he was on a Mine Rescue Team and was training to respond to incidents in the oil industry. Ron started thinking he needed to be out in the field trying to stop these incidents before they happened and to educate workers and companies on how to prevent the incidents from occurring. Ron went into the Training field for about 4 years with this company followed by working in the Safety Field where he has been for 8 years.
Ron has been an instructor for St John Ambulance for more than 12 years, and has also trained the Youth Cadets for many years with a momentous achievement of being awarded first place in the World and in Canada during first aid competitions.
Ron received his certificate in OH&S from the University of Alberta, and he also has his Master Trainer designation from LangevinLearniing Services.
